for serving the Lord in full time ministry. In 2002 Pastor Bob left
his position as Regional Sales Manager for a communication company
to become Youth Pastor at the Harlingen Texas Church of the Nazarene.

Pastor Tanya came to New Horizon in July 2005 as the Associate Pastor

took on the role of Youth Pastor to help guide our youth into a
fulfilling life of Christ. A graduate of Nazarene Bible College

Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa ID through their online program.
Prior to coming to NHCON she was a youth pastor for approximately
4 years as well as a leader of several Bible Studies and Sunday
School classes. Born in Houston TX into a non-Christian home she
accepted Christ as her savior at the age of 15 and accepted her
call into full-time pastoral ministry in 1993. She has had several
issues with her health but has learned to trust the Lord even more
during these difficult times. While there are many scriptures that
mean a lot to her, one of her favorites is "Just as you received
Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built
up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing
with thankfulness." Colossians 2:6-7 NIV
